Fulton County Adaptive Art

This week, Middle School students finished up their 2D Balloon Dogs inspired by the contemporary artist, Jeff Koons. Students utilized many different elements of art for this project, including texture, form, value, and space. We had so much fun creating the different parts of this project, especially learning how to make our ballon dogs look more realistic with shadows and highlights!

Students studied Yayoi Kusama's artwork and her love of pattern, including her beloved polka dots. Students created pumpkins with repeated patterns of their own choice using black sharpies and colorful paper. Students also decided on a background design.
