Feb 2025: Goldcrown and Uphues Mixed Media Artwork with Ms. Melissa

Elementary students used printmaking with heart shaped stamped to create a beautiful paper in the style of artist J Goldcrown. Next, they learned about artist Chris Uphues and his hearts showing emotions and cut a symmetrical heart from paper. Next, they added pre-cut eye shapes to their hearts and used black markers to draw details to show a variety of emotions on their hearts.
