Apple Season in the Art Room

“Art classes with Mr.Rob discussed tint and shade to create apple trees. We discussed the apple orchards in North GA and looked at the variety of apples available with different colors. Students observed apple-themed images by Klimt, Pissarro, Monet, Warhol, and Magritte to understand how different artists saw apples in their own way. The classes learned about how seeds inside the apples grow into new trees.We also discussed shapes, vertical lines/ horizontal lines,and color mixing.”
