Snowflakes with Ms. Tricia

The students completed a lesson about artist, Sam Gilliam, and his use of blending colors.  We then blended colors on several papers and talked about warm and cool colors.  The following week, after the papers were dry, we used painters tape to tape off a snowflake shape.  We used white paint to paint over the entire page.  Then, we tore off the tape to reveal a lovely Sam Gilliam Inspired Snowflake!
