March 2022: Ms Donna's class learns about Mae Jemmison-the first African American astronaut in space

Ms. Donna’s class learned about Mae Jemmison and her journey to become an the first African American astronaut.to go into space!

The class drew a portrait of Mae Jemmison, used watercolor paint for the portrait and did the space background with bleeding tissue paper and water.

It was a fun project!
