Kandinsky Trees with Ms. Joanne

I had so much fun with my Johns Creek Highschoolers creating Kandinsky inspired concentric trees. Here's some pics! ( I showed them a little about perspective, foreground and background)

First we painted the sky blue, added white clouds... used all size brushes...then painted the grass green! If the paper got too wet we dabbed it with paper towels which created a cool texture! Next we traced our hands for the tree and cut it out. (Some students needed help) then we added precut circles to the limbs! They were so proud.
