High Museum Visit with Ms. Ashley

Students from Riverwood International Charter School were so excited to be invited to the High Museum for a tour and an art-making session with the museum's teaching artists! We viewed the contemporary exhibits, African art, and the folk-art exhibits to look for different examples of animals we could find in the art. The museum docent had mini activities for us to do along the way to keep us all engaged. We also took turns going down to the museum classrooms to create our own animal sculptures. It was so much fun!
