Exciting October!

Adaptive Art in Mr. Jason’s class has been a very busy and exciting time for this month of October 2017. Middle school grades have explored mixed media by creating their own coffee shops. This coincides with life skills they are putting to great use by operating their own coffee shop for teachers and staff. They have also created their own harvest corn paintings while exploring concepts such as warm and cool colors and how to mix various tints of blue. We have also explored the concept of “drawing with scissors” to learn about Matisse and create art in his manner of collage. Elementary age students have also created their own pumpkin puppets for an exciting puppet show!
