Symmetry Name Creature Creativity

Ms. Donna has been teaching her students about symmetry and how it applies to art and other cross-curriculum classes such as math!

Our students were able to create a Symmetrical Name Creature by folding a piece of paper in half, writing their name on one side of the paper, then folding it back in half again--making the "name" into a symmetrical creature. After adding eyes,color, and a horizon line, their creature emerged!
