3D Op Art Line Designs

Woodland Middle School students practiced their line design skills by creating Op Art cubes!

First, we learned how to draw cubes using simple lines in our sketchbooks. Next, we practiced drawing as many lines as we could remember. We found out that cubes have six faces. We needed to make SIX different Op Art designs. In order to begin our Op Art designs, we used two or more types of lines and/or shapes to draw patterns on the cube template. Next, we used a black and white patterns to color inside of the shapes the intersecting lines created. Take a look at our hard work!
