Harvest Fruit & Fractions!

In our Pre-K and Kindergarten Adaptive Art classes we explored apples, discussed math and science, and created apple artwork. We looked at books and learned about the life of an apple tree.

Together, we discovered that the skin of the apple can be different colors - but the inside is the same with a core, seeds and a stem.

The apple can be whole, or cut into two halves or four fourths. Then we cut the apple into more fractions.

We saw the apples, touched the apples, smelled the apples, tasted the apples and made apple fraction art.
