Welcome Winter with Snowflakes!

It’s Winter 2015 and it’s time for snowflakes. We began our project by talking about radial balance. We also learned that all snowflakes are hexagonal in shape. First, we glued down three pieces of thin string to establish our initial shape. Then we created shapes and lines using white paint to complete our snowflake. Here are two examples of our amazing students' work.
