Canadian Geese

With the cool weather, we saw the migration of the Canada Geese. We saw them on the playground and lots of other places! This was a fun, multi-step project that gave us a chance to learn about geese, migration, and habitats.

Then, we painted our backgrounds using watercolors. We tore newsprint and construction paper to make feathers and cut out our bodies, necks, and feet. We glued the pieces together and cut out or painted on some grass since the geese like to nest and hunt in tall grasses.

Now we are on to our next project - Winter Poinsettias...
