Apples, Squirrels, Pumpkins… Ahhhh, the Wonderful Season of Fall!

This week, our students were introduced to a variety of media and the use of layering methods in the creation of these artworks. Paint, markers, crayons, glue, tissue paper, colored paper, and other materials were used for the artworks in this post:

Along with our art, we also created a recipe book - made by HS students - and included recipes… We even made the Apple Crisp and enjoyed eating this tasty treat! My heart melted as several students came to me and let me know that their Mom’s loved the book and that they would cook from the recipes!

Crisp blue skies and the fresh air… the season of Fall refreshes us all as the squirrels collect nuts for Winter.
